Every relationship has its different stages and although one hopes endlessly for a secret formula to make a relationship work, the reality is sometimes relationships don’t always go the way we want them too. Arguments, fights, differences they will arise, it is natural but it is completely upon us and our ability to deal with things and make things work for the better. When you find yourself in a position of anger, and you can’t seem to find a way to make things right take this into consideration.
Analyze - The first “A” is to analyze your behavior and the situation. Think, what has actually brought you to a situation that really needs help to fix your relationship. We are usually sweet and polite initially, when the relationship is just new and blooming. But eventually we lose interest or just start taking things for granted, which is never good and eventually leads to fights. Ask yourself questions like, what must have hurt my partner? Did I do anything that has offended them? Have I lost their trust in me? Just try understand what is going wrong in your relationship, and it will help you see things differently. Apologize - Once you know where the problem lies, apologize. It is never too late to apologize. An apology can melt anyones heart and get your relationship back on track. Don’t just apologize for the sake of doing it. Do it because you really mean it, and make them realize how important they are to you. Be convinced yourself that you really really want them in your life and pour out the words from your heart. A genuine verbal apology should serve the purpose, and trust me it goes along way.
Act - After the apology, when things are just probably falling into place, your relationship is getting back on track, don’t get causal and repeat your mistakes. When things are just getting better, it is time you should be extra careful. Strive to be a honest, truthful and drama free, like you were in the beginning of the relationship, and this time on, continue to do the same, for you don’t want yourself to be in the same situation again, right? Just appreciate each other, do cute small simple things and make each other feel special and valued. ♥
